Solid Wood Crate

A solid wood crate is a packaging box made of solid wood or wooden boards, and is one of the most commonly used packaging boxes. It is generally used as outer packaging for goods during logistics and transportation, reducing damage caused by impacts and collisions.
Classification and Application of Solid Wood Crates
Ordinary Wooden Crate
A wooden crate made of boards and frames, consisting of sides, ends, base and lid. It is typically used for relatively light-weight goods.
Skid Wooden Crate
A medium-sized wooden crate suitable for loads of 200–1500 kg. The total length, width and height is limited to 7m, with width and height below 1.5m. It is mainly used for packaging mechanical products and can also unitize small items, making it ideal for medium-sized products.
Frame Wooden Crate
A large wooden crate with framed side and end structures and a skid-type base.
Generally under 12m in length, 3.5m in width and 3.5m in height, with inner load capacity of 500–20,000 kg.
Mainly used for large machinery and unitizing small cargo.

Features

Type I (Inner Frame): for general contents
Type II (Outer Frame): for products that are integral in length; reusable packaging suitable for fasteners, metal balls, stamping parts and other irregular items.
Closed Wooden Crate
A fully enclosed wooden crate with tightly paneled surfaces.

Plywood Crate
A wooden crate with wooden frames and plywood surfaces.
Widely used in machinery, chemical, electronic, hardware and other industries.
Equipped with panels and fasteners, suitable for general goods with a typical load capacity under 2 tons.
Snap-Crate / Buckle Crate
Unlike traditional nailed crates, this type is assembled from OSB or plywood boards using high-strength metal fasteners.
It retains the advantages of traditional crates while allowing tool-free assembly and disassembly, foldability, stackability, and repeated recycling.
Bamboo Plywood Crate
A wooden crate with wood frames and bamboo plywood or wood plywood surfaces.
Wood-Framed Corrugated Carton
A composite packaging box with a wooden structure and corrugated board surfaces.
Detachable Steel-Belted Crate
